Learn the mold making and casting techniques needed for making props. Great class for beginners in mold making and casting as well as those who just want to learn better techniques for finishing your props.
Where: Sculpt Nouveau HQ
When: Saturday March 24th 9am-4pm & Sunday March 25th 9am-4pm (Will break for lunch @ noon both days)
What: We will cover:
1 piece and 2 piece mold making (Day 1)
Materials for moldmaking and fast mold making (Day 1)
Materials for casting: flexible foams, rigid foams, casting resins, casting rubbers (Day 2)
Carving and coating styrofoam (Day 2)
Finishing Props with Sculpt Nouveau Metal Coatings and Patinas (Day 2)
The mold making portion will be demo only but the casting and finishing section on day too will be "hands-on" for the Metals Coatings and Patinas.

What to wear: comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting some resin or metal coating on.
